The TITEB Board of Directors is made up of eight representatives from the skin and clan groups across both Islands, with long-term vision and passion for the Tiwi.
Our Board Members are: Leslie Tungatalum (Chairman); Richard Tungatalum; Pirrawayingi Puruntatameri, Stanley Tipiloura, Wesley Kerinaiua, Andrew Bush, Connell Tipiloura and Debbie Coombes.
TITEB Governance is strong and focused. Chief Executive Officer, Maria Harvey, works closely with the Board to direct real progress on the ground. In 2017-18 the focus will be on closer engagement with young people on the Islands, and developing career pathways for our clients and improved training opportunities.
Our Chairman, Leslie Tungatalum says, “That’s how we build a town, a safer place for our people and our future. I would love more young ones to further their education, and to go to university. I want them to be lawyers, I want them to be doctors. I don’t want people just picking up rubbish. We’ll have some people there to pick up rubbish but I would love to see young ones furthering their education and finishing their education properly.”
