The TITEB Board of Directors is made up of eight representatives from the skin and clan groups across both Islands, with long-term vision and passion for the Tiwi.
The Tiwi Islands Training and Employment Board (TITEB) was established by the Tiwi Land Council in 1999 to coordinate training and employment activities on the Tiwi Islands. TITEB is owned and managed by a Tiwi board of directors, who are committed to good governance and continuous improvement.
TITEB Co-Chairs, Leslie Tungatalum (Bathurst) and Karina Coombes (Melville), are supported by directors, Richard Tungatalum, Stanley Tipiloura and Cheryl Kerinaiua at Wurrumiyanga, Andrew Bush and Connell Tipiloura at Milikapiti, and Debbie Coombes at Pirlangimpi. The Board works closely with CEO Maria Harvey to direct real progress on the ground.
