Tiwi Futures Expo

In May 2022, TITEB Yellow Shirts and Xavier College collaborated to present the Tiwi Futures Expo, now in its second year.

The Tiwi Futures Expo exposes students to careers they may not have imagined. Students have the chance to meet local employers in a relaxed, familiar environment, and learn about careers that align with their interests.

While last year’s event was limited to local stakeholders due to Covid, this year we welcomed organisations from Darwin as well. In total, there were 45 stalls offering information and inspiration for Tiwi students to achieve their dreams.

All Tiwi Islands schools were invited, with students from Milikapiti and Pularumpi and MCPS attending on the day. The feedback from those who attended the event was overwhelmingly positive, and the 2023 Expo is already pencilled in for May next year. Please come and join us!
