Categories: Employment, Job Seekers, Wurrumiyanga

Employers are encouraged to host CDP Activities where job seekers can build capacity and skills for future employment, whilst also helping the community. In Wurrumiyanga, Red Cross have a host agreement with TITEB to run youth activities, with the help of CDP participants.

Every afternoon from 2.30-4.00pm, together with with the Regional Council, Shire Sports and Recreation Officers, they run activities at the school, oval and hall. Activities include football and basketball.

CDP participants also help out with gardening and other Red Cross programs, such as Say My Way positive messaging, and holiday programs.
