Share the Dignity

Together with Share the Dignity, Wurrumiyanga Women’s Centre was able to provide personal products to women who need them most. The bags arrived in time for Christmas.

In December, we received a shipment of lovely bags full of essential items that were distributed to the participants. Women’s Centre Supervisor Evita Puruntatameri received this message from one happy handbag recipient:

“Thank you to the people who sent us the bags. We appreciate your support. The bags are really nice and it was a nice surprise to see what was inside them.”

We are hoping to continue working with Share the Dignity to make the handbags available to all Tiwi Women in need.
