Outstanding Evaluation

Outstanding Evaluation

Categories: Employment, Wurrumiyanga, News

In September 2019, two of our Wurrumiyanga Supervisors, Sophia Tipuamantumirri and Evita Puruntatameri, received conference support grants to attend the Australian Evaluation Society in Sydney as Indigenous evaluators. They presented a session covering the evaluation process for the Rise Up 2 Lead Program.

Sophia and Evita were involved in the program not only as participants but also as evaluators to provide a different layer of leadership skills. The purpose the evaluation was to ensure that it made a difference to the lives of participants.

Sophia and Evita did TITEB proud. They were very popular amongst the many Australian and international visitors that attended the conference, and presented a gift to some of the Indigenous delegates from the Australian Evaluation Society.

We hope that TITEB can be involved in the conference again in 2020 to highlight from within an evaluation framework that shows the success and positive outcomes arising across all programs. Thanks to CFO Bronwyn Rossingh and CDP Manager Moya Perry for their support.
