2019 was an exciting year for the Community Development Program on the Tiwi Islands. Over 100 of our job seekers gained employment and everyone had the opportunity to gain relevant skills and experience so that, as jobs become available, they could confidently apply.

We would like to thank all the organisations who support our program of activities, training and opportunities for job seekers. Thanks to your support we were able to provide regular health promotion, legal advice, emergency services training, exercise classes and information sharing. We would also like to thank the employers and host activity providers who provide a range of on-the-job training and employment opportunities.

Real employer engagement is about building positive and ongoing relationships. We have had many visitors to our centres and you are always welcome. Please call to arrange a time.
