It's not the mountain we conquer

The Board and CEO would like to welcome our new dedicated HR Officer, Louis Malaibe to TITEB. Originally from PNG, Louis has lived in Canberra for the last 20 years, and has 9 years experience in HR at ANU. He arrived in Darwin earlier this week, ready for a new challenge.

Louis lives by Sir Edmund Hillary’s inspirational quote, “It is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves.” For Louis, the challenge will be creating systems and processes to support an organisation with 68 employees that hasn’t had dedicated HR support previously. And that’s no small challenge!

Louis is looking forward to getting to know the team and different work situations, and finding solutions that work for employees and the organisation. His first task will be to put processes in place to make it easier for staff to complete the necessary paperwork.

Welcome aboard Louis!
