Working at Milikapiti School

Working at Milikapiti School

Categories: Employment, Job Seekers, School, Milikapiti

Milikapiti School Principal, Katherine Leo, would like to see more local people working at the school, providing strong links with the community, students and their families. She is looking for positive role models, who are willing to work with the students and help them in their learning.

Employees need to have a Working with Children card, they need to be reliable, arrive on time and work all day. They need to love working with kids and having fun with learning. Positions vacant are advertised through TITEB and posters around the community, at the shop, council, and also at the clinic.

The school’s groundsman, NAME, was hired through TITEB. With so many people building up their skills at the training centre on a daily basis, TITEB knows who to recommend for each position and people are given lots of support in the application process.
